MODEL 597C: PHASE ANGLE METER

A precision phase angle meter in SOHz or 60Hz version, the 597C has been in production for well over 10 years.

It has inputs for voltage, direct current or current via a clip-on CT.
The phase angle can be measured to 0.1 deg accuracy over a wide range of voltage from 1 0V to S00Vm and from S0mA to SOA using the direct current input. The clip-on CT option gives current measurement up to SOOA with slightly less accuracy.

Test leads are not supplied with the Model 597C. Each input terminal will accept either 4mm plugs or spade type plugs. It is recommended that plug cable terminations are used with C.T.s where an accidental open circuit can cause dangerously high voltage to be included.

The optional 1 0A/1 00A clip-on C.T. is a Red Phase Model 3028.
